A smaller group of S 3/6 engines, however, was built with 79″ drivers for high-speed service on flatter routes and acquired the nickname “High Steppers. After nationalization in 1920, the engines were painted in the black and red Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) scheme and became classes 18.3 through 18.5. While the DR intended to develop new standard engines of its own, the S 3/6 was deemed so good that the DR continued to order new engines of this 1908 design through 1931. The relatively light axle loading of the S 3/6, 18 tons, was also a plus, as the DR was behind schedule in upgrading main lines to its new 20-ton standard. So successful were the Bavarian Pacifics that they were chosen over more modern power to lead the glorious cream and blue Rheingold Express on part of its scenic route down the Rhine Valley, both before and after WWII. An S 3/6 could also be seen often on the point of the Orient Express. Even after World War II, the aging engines continued to be great performers. A large number were modernized with new boilers and became the most economical steamers on the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB), the new name for West Germany’s railroad system. By the 1960s however, the S 3/6 class, which originally numbered 159 locomotives, had been retired, with a number of engines preserved in museums or in operating condition. New for 2010, M. With this deluxe kit you connect at the engine, drop the flex lines down and push connect together under the car, you are done is minutes. (ON 06-11 HHR discard the fuel filter). Inline Tubes Nylon fuel repair kit is manufactured to substitute your original rusted out factory steel line in the rear of the car all the way to the front engine. From the fuel pump filter quick connect to the engine. Refer to instruction guide for install. The new lines will run off the fuel tank line or fuel filter and charcoal canister to the front of the car. They will connect into the existing fuel fitting, Take off old and snap on new. For the vapor line connect at the charcoal canister run forward connect to the drop line and you are done. The hard line can be rusty from the back to the front so this kit gives you the material to go the entire length so you never have to deal with this problem again. You can attach new lines into existing clips or zip tie to the old ones. This kit comes with a new fuel filter but again it is not used with the HHR. Our kit is engineered for an easy install, that does NOT require removal of the gas tank or original hard fuel line. This gives you the ability to not have to worry about dealing with the old rusty corroded fuel lines. Install the kit connect to the existing lines and you are done in 30 minutes. Route the new line over the exhaust and let it suspend free. Run this line in the existing clips all the way forward to the engine compartment. Next go engine top side connect the new flex hose to the engine and drop down by the firewall. Connect the metal quick connect end to the engine line to complete the install. Installing the white fuel tank vent line, at the back of the car plug the 90 degree black plastic push connect to the canister and run towards the front of the car. Push the lines up as high as possible, behind the old heat shield and wire tie into place as you work to the front. Next go engine top side connect the new flex hose to the engine purge valve and drop down by the firewall. Clean up the routing areas of lines? Make sure the line is not rubbing on anything. Sticker so that future mechanics know that this is a fuel line. 1995 Honda CR500R Motor Engine New Build HRC, Full Ignition & Pre-jetted PWK 38A/S CR CR500 500. US Buyers only please. Professionally and meticulously built HRC Replica 1995 Honda CR500R motor with full Eric Gorr Racing Mo-Betta port job and head work. All seals and bearings are new as well as REM ISF micro-finished transmission. Perfect for an AF project or revitalizing your original steel framed CR. Factory HRC replica clutch and ignition/stator cover from Europe installed. Full Eric Gorr Mo-Betta motor job that includes. 1mm oversize bore (503cc), exhaust bridge relieved. Exhaust port raised 0.060 (1.5 mm) and widened by 4 mm on each side. Exhaust spigot matched to cylinder/exhaust port and includes new pipe seal ring. Head cut and reshaped for 1.38 mm squish clearance verified at assembly… Stock squish is 2.5 mm. Transfers and intake ported and matched. Cylinder honed and mic’ed for piston clearance to Wiseco Pro-Lite 90mm kit. Wiseco Pro-Lite (90 mm) piston installed (piston to cylinder clearance = 0.070 mm, Ring gap = 0.56 mm), drilled for exhaust bridge lubrication. All bearing and seals are new throughout motor and pre-lubed. New crankshaft bearings/seals installed. All seals installed to proper depths per Honda spec. (critical for crank seals for proper lubrication to bearings through weep holes in cases). Transmission gears/shafts/thrust washers and all shifter parts REM micro-finished (Isotropic Super-finished) by Evans Performance/ProCryo. All springs and shifter pawls/plungers replaced with new parts. Completely new clutch installed with steel drive plates and 10% stiffer springs (plates pre-soaked in transmission oil). Wiseco forged/billet hard-anodized clutch basket. All bolts/hardware replaced with Specbolt NickelWurks. New Honda Cylinder/Head studs installed to factory torque specs. Showe Carbon Fiber reeds installed on stock block (matched to surface) and stock boot for best performance. New projected tip NGK BPR8ES plug installed and gap set (0.55 mm). Ignition/stator cleaned and verified with multimeter kick-over spark proven pulse generator to flywheel gap set to factory specs. All ignition contacts/connector pins cleaned with electronics cleaner and inspected (new kill switch included). 14T countershaft sprocket installed with lockwasher. New PWK38 Airstriker carb included and jetted to match the motor as follows: 172 Main, CGK (R1369N) Needle 2nd clip, 50 Pilot, 7.0 Slide, Airscrew 1.75 turns out, float level checked. Entire motor was ultrasonically cleaned before assembly, gasket surfaces matched, and exterior re-finished before assembly. All bolts internal and external set to factory torque specs. (red/blue thread-locker applied only where required). Assembly lube/gear oil used where needed and two-stroke oil pre-lube applied to crank bearings/cylinder/piston. Motor has never been used or run in a bike (factory fresh new build). Transmission and ignition operation verified (close ratio MX transmission as in 89-92). All water outlet/inlets plugged with rubber caps. Intake/exhaust plugged since build. More pictures available upon request. I have photos throughput the motor build process. Motor prepped and built by ah2stroke (Instagram). Motor in the pictures in the actual unit you will receive including full ignition/regulator/harness/kill switch/carb.
