At BHP we have spent a long time perfecting the installation of Link ECU’s into Cosworth YB Powered Cars including the Sierra & Escort RS Cosworth and a multitude of RWD cars (Mk1/2 Escort, Capri’s, Anglia’s plus some very odd vehicles). We have now put together definitive kits to bring your YB up to date with a new Link G4+ ECU. The ECU will run individual injector and ignition trim, plus a selection of optional motorsport features like Launch control and Anti Lag. The Link ECU will also come with much better engine protection, which is what is very lacking in the standard Weber, thats pretty much why the engine becomes unreliable when tuned. The Cosworth Loom kit includes the following: Link G4 X Monsoon X ECU With on Board 4 Bar Map Sensor, Base Map, Full engine loom, 4x BOSCH 550cc Injectors Mulithole Injectors With Height Adaptors , 4x Honda K20 coil’s with mounting brackets, Distributor cover & Boost Controller with bracket. Link G4X Monsoon X ECU Specification. More features, more powerful. The MonsoonX has been upgraded to provide 512 megabytes of data logging, meaning you can log much more data at a faster sample rate. Control loops are also more precise compared to its G4+ predecessor, along with advancements such as single precision floating point format fuel tables, better resolution within ignition timing and faster communications. These upgrades make the G4X Monsoon a true powerhouse in a small shell. G4X features 512 megabytes of logging at 32bit using up to 250 channels, each limited to up to 1kHz per channel (by the Operating System), with a maximum of 100kHz. With the MonsoonX you have all the tuning capabilities of the AtomX, but you can also choose to run some of the following features: Launch Control, Anti-lag, VVT Control and Closed Loop Boost Control. It also comes with a built in 4Bar MAP sensor further reducing installation cost. Note: The MonsoonX will run any of the above features, but it cannot run them all at once. The number of features you can run is dependent on how many of the limited Inputs and Outputs each feature needs. The MonsoonX will control up to 2 rotors or 4 cylinders with sequential injection and direct spark. AVSS Automotive thin-wall wire used throughout and genuine TYCO and DELPHI Connectors. Loom will be supplied braided and labeled as per the photo and compete with high quality 60mm bulkhead grommet.
